GOOD TO KNOW
Your questions, answered.
What does £1,195 include?
The residential package includes investigation, leak detection, tracing, access or excavation, the plumbing repair, parts and materials, post-repair testing, a report and a 12-month workmanship warranty. £1,195 is the total price, including any applicable tax. Decorative and remedial reinstatement is excluded.
How does the £100 deposit work?
First, contact us about the leak. Once the job and appointment are confirmed, we send you a payment link for a £100 booking deposit. This is deducted from £1,195, leaving £1,095. Sending an enquiry does not take a payment or confirm an appointment.
Do you also repair the leak?
Yes. We combine investigation, access and the plumbing repair in one residential package. We explain the proposed access before work begins and test the repair afterwards.
What is not included?
Decorative and remedial reinstatement after access, including tiling, flooring, plastering, painting, decorating and cabinetry, is not included. Commercial work has a separate quotation.
Can I claim through my insurance?
We provide a detailed Trace & Access report for you to submit to your insurer. Acceptance and reimbursement depend on your policy, excess, limits and insurer’s decision. Check any approval requirements with your insurer before work begins.
Do you cover commercial properties?
Yes. We investigate and repair leaks for businesses, landlords and property managers. The advertised £1,195 package is for residential work; commercial investigations and repairs are quoted separately.
Will you need to lift floors or open walls?
Detection helps narrow down the source before access is made. Some leaks require floors, walls, ceilings or external surfaces to be opened so the pipe can be repaired. We explain what is needed and aim to avoid unnecessary disruption.
What does the warranty cover?
The plumbing repair workmanship comes with a 12-month warranty. The written booking information explains the warranty and how to report a concern. Your statutory rights are unaffected.
GOOD TO KNOW
Before the investigation
Do I have to know where the leak is?
No. Explain what you have noticed and any previous checks. We select suitable investigation methods from there.
Are you available 24 hours a day?
We have not published round-the-clock opening hours. Appointment availability is confirmed when you enquire.
What if my town is not listed?
Send your full postcode. Our approximate travel area is centred on Windsor SL4 and we will check whether a suitable appointment is possible.
Is every detection method used on every job?
No. We select suitable methods for the pipework, symptoms and conditions. A thermal camera, acoustic instrument or tracer gas is used where appropriate.
How do I prepare?
Gather previous reports, photographs and system information. Arrange access, parking and any required permission. Do not disturb unsafe areas or electrical fittings affected by water.
